The National Institute on Ageing
A government agency that conducts and supports basic, clinical, social, and behavioral research on aging and the special problems and needs of older adults. Leading federal agency for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias research.

AARP
A public interest group in the United States focusing on issues affecting those over the age of fifty, and covers many topics around caregiving as most family caregivers of elderly people are in this age group.

Caring Across Generations
A national coalition of 200 advocacy organizations working to transform the long-term care system in the US, with a focus on the needs of aging Americans, people with disabilities, and their caregivers.

Family Caregiver Alliance 
FCA has provided services to family caregivers of adults with physical and cognitive impairments, such as Parkinson’s, stroke, Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Our services include assessment, care planning, direct care skills, wellness programs, respite services, and legal/financial consultation vouchers.

Caregiver Action Network 
CAN is a nonprofit organization that provides resources and advocacy for family caregivers, offering practical tips, educational materials, and a support community to help caregivers navigate their caregiving journey.

National Alliance for Caregiving 
This national organization focuses on advancing the needs of family caregivers. They conduct research, provide resources, and advocate for policies that support and recognize the important role of caregivers.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Center

The Alzheimer’s Association offers a dedicated caregiver center with information, resources, and support for those caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
